Welcome to Lyme Action PA Blog!

We needed a place to share information, share ideas, and support each others' advocacy efforts to bring LYME DISEASE into the public eye and to create powerful changes for Lyme Disease sufferers at the Legislative Level! So, welcome to Lyme Action PA Blog. To return to our home page, Lyme Action PA, click here.

First Question: How can we raise visibility around PA Senate Bill 1199.

FACEBOOK and TWITTER anyone?

  1. I am using facebook to spread the word. I have gone to every friend on my fb page who lives in PA or who knows people here and asking them if I can post a link to the online petition on their wall. Of course they generously say yes, and in my post I ask people to please repost the link on THEIR pages and to keep it going. Seems to be working.

I also created a post on lymenet flash discussion on www.lymenet.com and people seem to be starting to notice.

  2. My son had 4 bullseye rashes about 2 weeks ago and after taking him to the doctor we recieved instructions for a 20 day cycle of amoxicillan, on the same day my husband got a call from previous blood work that he had lymes, he is also on a 20 day cycle of doxy. My son is 19 months old and I'm wondering what to do after these 20 day cycles since neither doctor has given us further instructions. My son wouldn't be able to communicate to me if he had most symptoms.
